What research says We start with BenQ who enters stylishly but overpriced for what you get. If you are serious about design and decor then the BenQ is fit, trim and neato. If however you have more modern concerns and want a monitor to be precise and manageable, then look elsewhere. The other two monitors we compare have the same if not more features, but are less expensive and from more trusted brands.
The strong front-runner is Acer. From packaging to supplied accessories, good touch-panel design and sleek look - these monitors make sharp work of your space and time. One issue for side-to-side fans; the gloss bezel is a bit thick - meaning you'll have decent gap instead of a nice tight 'one-panel' look. These monitors also have the best set of total viewing angle. Samsung is known in the monitor world for craftsmanship and durability. That has not changed on this solidly built platform. The design is much cleaner than the Acer and seems to give the illusion of a larger area because of its thin stand. Connections are all standardized and are fit and ready. Controls are unobtrusive and intuitive. If you must be sleek you'll find a winner in the BenQ or the Samsung. If you are keen to 3-year warranties, high visibility, and solid performance then you might lean toward the Acer, which is however a bit thick around the edges.
