What research says

Most online reviews say the Babyplanet SoloSport is durable, but a few people have had problems with the wheels. We didn't like this as a sport / jogging stroller because the wheels are small like a regular stoller, which isn't going to do very well on dirt or gravel paths. What we did like were the low cost and light weight factors.

Everyone we talked to about this stroller said the same thing: Smooth. If you are looking for a jogging stroller that can roll over cracks in pavement without a hitch, or allow you to push on through gravel and dirt paths without feeling like you're pushing a plow - this is it. But it's going to cost you. We chose one of BOB's higher-range strollers so if you choose to get something like the BOB Sport Utility model you might get the price down. Just beware the upsells because these things can come with tons of expensive accessories.

The Mia Moda Energi Stroller looks sleek, but one gets the impression that looks were put before functionality. We found this sport stroller to be not-so-sporty when it came time to jog on a compacted-dirt trail near the house. It is also a rather heavy stroller. On the plus side, we loved the tray, which comes in handy when you park the stroller to have lunch with a friend and need to feed your baby.

The heaviest stroller in this review, InStep's Safari Stroller is durable and easy to jog with, but difficult to break down and stow away in the car. We have heard of children tipping the stroller over when leaning over the side if unattended, but that is rare and probably only in cases where the parent did not strap the child in properly.

There are plenty more sport-style jogging strollers to choose from. Click Here to read more reviews.

I have a BOB jogging stroller and must say that it is worth every penny. I never thought I'd say this about a stroller, but the BOBs keep their value. You can sell it or keep it for your next baby to make the dollar go farther. Also check Amazon for used models!
