What research says

All three of the earphones in this review are going to put your standard out-of-the-box earbuds to shame.

The Coosh headphones with detachable earrings got our vote because the stayed on better and testing was done on the slopes of Loveland Ski Resort in Colorado. Nothing sucks more than having to stop a nice ride to put your headphones back on. Not only that, but they were the least expensive without sacrificing quality.

The Skullcandy Chops are pretty sweet looking. I like the color options and the tribal-ish shape of the earring hook. But the earring is not detachable, which kinda sucks if you're wearing a helmet or a hat and don't want them pressing into your temples.

JBuds J2 earphones are supposed to be noise isolating, but we didn't hear a difference. They're great earbud-style headphones though, and don't come with an earring that hooks over your ears. That might be great for some but not for others - it depends on what you're looking for. The soft silicone was very comfortable and the sound was just as good as the other two options.

In summary all three of these earbud style headphones have great sound quality for the price, but only one of them allows you the option of using or not using the earring hook - The Choosh's - which is why they get our editor's pick in this review.
