What research says

The research in this bagless vacuum cleaner review comes from an amalgamation of many reviews from people who own these vacuums and used them on a regular basis. Research here also comes from firsthand experience. The first thing we did was to keep our comparisons as $100 or lower, as a basis to begin with. All the products listed here have very common features that one would expect to find at the $100 price-point. Some of the feature that we expect to find such as built in HEPA filters, extensions and tools, powerful motors, and long cords, are all here. Beyond that, we start to see differences in the products.

Let's begin with design. The first thing you may notice, is all of these vacuums have very, very different styling. The model from Bissell has a very modern design which is almost futuristic, while the Hoover has a more traditional stance in appearance.

Lastly, we come to the radically styled Eureka vacuum. The styling on the Eureka vacuum is so unique that you either like it or not. Instead of a traditional handle the Eureka incorporates a large round ring, and sports a very interesting paint job. The most important thing here, is how clean these units get your floor not necessarily how well they look. While styling may be an issue, let's take a look at some of the other features that are very important.

The Bissell momentum Cyclonic upright vacuum is probably the clear winner in terms of features, with more height adjustments, a longer cord, and a washable pre-motor filter, as well as many of the features found on the competitors' products.

Hoover makes a notable entry with their cyclonic vacuum. While Hoover does keep some basic features, They also add some unique innovations to their product such as, a bottom emptying dirt container which removes dirt with a touch of a button, and in keeping true to the theme, Hoover uses a soft start motor, which gradually picks up speed to keep the entire vacuum quiet while not sacrificing cleaning power. Other cool feature from Hoover include the Brushroll, which is great for people who have carpet and hardwood floors or hard surfaced floors.

Lastly, we come to the very unique Eureka. While the coolest features of all of these vacuums can be found here, that is unless you don't like the designs. One such feature is that telescopic looping handle, here you can adjust the height of the vacuum to make it more comfortable for your use. That same loop handle can be used to store the vacuum in a hanging fashion. Other innovations in the Eureka Uno Bagless vacuum cleaner include a scuff resistant furniture guard.

In considering which bagless upright vacuum to purchase, one of your main considerations will be the design and style of the vacuum since all these products have very similar feature sets. The prices on these vacuums are all about the same, and equally as important the build quality for these units is both rugged and durable. There is one outstanding feature of the Eureka Uno bagless vacuum cleaner in that it can be folded almost completely flat, which makes getting under furniture and storage much, much easier.
