What research says The first Amplified Stereo Listener With 3-Band Equalizer works well and does enable you to hear sounds that you might normally miss.
The Pocket-Size Stereo Amplified Listener does amplify the sound so you don't miss things. You can hang it around you neck and use with ease. Both of these products were found to be about equal in features and performance. The Pocket-Size Stereo is less expensive and works as well as its higher priced competitor. These listeners are to help much like hearing aids, but you have to have some hearing ability to begin with. No amplifier will give sound to a person who is totally deaf.
MH Harris said:I have used the 3 band equalizer for 6 mos+. My $5000.00 hearing aids are in my purse.Your sales have increased bacause I tell everyone how well I am hearing kitty said:I purchased the small stereo listening device and returned it to the store, exchanging it for the 3-band amplified listener. Both of them were unacceptable. Every little sound (like the device touching my clothing) sounded like very loud static. It was very distracting and any sound amplification was overpowered by the static noise. I'll be returning the second one to the store and looking on the Internet for a more expensive (and hopefully, better) model. Other Resources and Reviews |
