The L’Oreal Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Makeup can be difficult to use if you don't know what you're doing. It must be put on very lightly. If too much is used the pores tend to clog up and cause an acne outbreak. Too much will also cause it to look very fake and cakey.

The Almay Clear Complexion Makeup claims to cover and help rid you of acne. It falls short of those claims. The coverage is thin and does not conceal and it lasts only a couple hours.

Though both these foundations if used correctly will look great at first, we found that the powdered mineral makeup will last longer and will cover just a little better than the liquid. Those with acne to cover would probably need a concealer with either of these foundations.
