What research says

The Viking 36 in. Designer Series Freestanding Counter Depth French-Door Refrigerator is a first class fridge. There are kits you can purchase additionally to change the look of the outdoor panels. It also comes with the usual two, six, and twelve-year warranties, and of course you can purchase additional warranties.

The Jen-Air 20 cu. ft. Cabinet Depth Floating Glass French Door Refrigerator comes in black and white with a glass high gloss exterior. It comes with a one-year part warranty, three years on labor, and 12 years on system itself, with additional warranties available for purchase.

The KitchenAid 35 5/8 in. Architect 11 19.7 cu. ft. Counter Depth French Door refrigerator comes in black, white, and stainless steel. The stainless steel is about $285 more. It also comes with a 2-year limited warranty and an extended 12-year warranty, with additional warranty coverage available for additional costs.

The Dacor 36 in. Custom Panel French Door Bottom Freezer Refrigerator comes in a satin finish without door handles and custom panels. Those have to be purchased separately and will cost an additional $262 to $383 depending on what finish you want. Typical warranty of two years parts and labor, five years for sealed parts and labor, and 12 years system warranty, with additional warranties for extra cost.

All of these refrigerators work very well and are attractive. The Dacor is our favorite in terms of features and style. The Viking has a few more inside features for food storage than the others. The JenAir and KitchenAid are tied in third place.
