What research says The HoMedics Therapist Select Shiatsu Massaging Cushion, SBM-200H
promises a lot but somehow falls short. The product is not built very well and half the time will break soon after purchase. The massage itself feels good on the back if you rest your back against it lightly; otherwise full pressure will hurt and could bruise the back. Dr. Scholl's Soothing Full Cushion Massager works very well for the price. The five motors provide three settings of vibration to massage the back, and heat as well. The unit is well built and will last for a good while. The difference in these two massage cushions is that the more expensive one has rollers that do a real massage, and the Dr. Scholl's just vibrates. The Dr. Scholl's massage chair cushion is better built and easier on sore backs. It's the better buy.
Dwayne said:In my opinion you shouldn't waste your money on either of these "massage chairs". Even the one with the rollers doesn't give you a real massage, and vibration doesn't do anything to help a sore back. Go see a chiropractor, get a real massage, or save up for a massage bed or chair that actually does something. dan said:very helpful... i just wish more brands had been reviewed. I completely agree with the review of the HoMedics product. Other Resources and Reviews |
